As more work is required to mod the Hitachi 0079fk and 0079fl drives, slightly more cost is involved.
Enquire today........We currently use the latest firmware version to update your firmware. We WILL give you (free of charge) a copy of your original firmware so that you can either revert back to original or upgrade to a newer firmware (once released). You also need this to fix some errors or faults( replacing a DVD rom), otherwise your xbox 360 will be useless. I have heaps of people contact me regarding fixing their xbox 360's but unfortunately the person that did their firmware flashes did not supply the original firmware!
We will also retain your full warranty if your console has not been opened or attempted to be opened as we are extremely gentle with the handling and care of your console.

How to check the different drives:
Remove your consoles faceplate and look in the hole underneath the DVD tray(right hand side). You should see the following:
White wire: BenQ drive
Red wire: Samsung ms25 or ms28 drive
No wire: Hitachi(0047-0079 drive)
Yellow wire: Lite-on drive
